Hofmeister, Wernfried Sprichwortartige Mikrotexte als literarische Medien,
dargestellt an der hochdeutschen politischen Lyrik des Mittelalters. Bochum:
Brockmeyer 1995. (=Studien zur Phraseologie und Parömiologie. 5.).
This book costs DM 64,80,-; it deals with the procedures of finding and
analysing (text-functionally) sentences which work as pre-accepted
collective citations within texts of the medieval political lyrics in
German. After a theoretical block (based on semiotic reflections) this new
theory is 'tested' by applying it to about 40 texts. A rich register
(including about 100, partly hitherto unknown proverbs or 'sprichwortartige
Mikrotexte') rounds up the publication.
